Raised in international schools during the height of the Cold War, Chadwell’s childhood was a masterclass in global transition. He was twelve years old when the Berlin Wall fell, an event that abruptly shifted his world from the tropics of Thailand to the quiet landscapes of Upstate New York.
After arriving in the United States, he traded a nomadic lifestyle for the academic rigor of Syracuse University. It was here that he refined his understanding of political science and history, preparing for a future that would eventually lead him back into the world of international affairs.
Following the family legacy into the Foreign Service, Chadwell navigated the complex and often murky realities of the Soviet Union. His time in the field provided the clinical, tactical insights that now serve as the backbone for the authentic atmosphere found in Chimera.
